Missing Teenager Jay Slater Last Seen in Tenerife
Friends and Family Issue Desperate Plea for Information
Jay Slater, a 19-year-old apprentice bricklayer from Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, has been reported missing in Tenerife.
Slater was last seen on Monday morning after attending a three-day music festival. He told a friend that he would be embarking on an 11-hour walk to get back to his accommodation.
Slater's family and friends have issued a desperate plea for information on his whereabouts. They have said that he is a "kind and caring" person who would never do anything to intentionally put himself in danger.
The British Consulate in Tenerife is aware of Slater's disappearance and is working with the Spanish authorities to locate him.
